Associate Professor of Physics |
Jané Kondev is a condensed matter theorist whose interests range from classic problems in statistical physics, such as the glass transition and mechanical properties of polymers, to problems in biology such as regulation of gene expression and DNA packing in viruses. A common theme that unites most of the research done in the Kondev group is the affect of confinement and constraints on the equilibrium structure and dynamics of fluctuating lines and surfaces.
